Here is the status of the various subsidies:
Electric vehicles
- Since January 1, 2025, the provincial subsidy has decreased from $7,000 to $4,000 for 100% electric vehicles.
- On January 1, 2026, this grant will be reduced to $2,000
- The Roulez vert program will end completely in 2027 .
Residential charging stations

A $600 grant is currently available for the purchase and installation of a 240-volt residential charging station .

Charging stations for multi-unit dwellings and condos
- A grant covering 50% of eligible expenses is offered, with a maximum of $5,000 per terminal or connector .
- The maximum amount per building varies depending on the number of dwellings, ranging from $20,000 to $49,000 .
Commercial charging stations
- Businesses, municipalities and organizations can benefit from a grant covering 50% of eligible expenses, up to a maximum of $5,000 per terminal or connector .
Sectoral and complementary programs
Recharge+ Program (Propulsion Québec)
- A grant of up to $100,000 per application, covering up to 50% of eligible costs. Cumulative public funding can reach 75% (100% for municipal, provincial or territorial governments)

Beneficiaries : Members and partners of Propulsion Québec (private sector), provincial, regional or municipal public organizations.
- Program in effect until December 31, 2026
Support for municipalities
Green Municipal Fund (GMF)
- Combined grant and loan of up to 80% of eligible costs.
- Combined grant and loan of up to $10 million.
- Grant of up to 15%** of the loan amount.

The following entities are eligible for FMV funding:
- Canadian municipal governments (e.g., municipalities, regions, districts and local councils).
- Municipal partners, including:
- private sector entity;
- municipal company;
- regional, provincial or territorial organization providing municipal services;
- non-governmental organization;
- non-profit organization;
- research institute (e.g. university).
- Indigenous community, as lead applicant, if it partners with a Canadian municipal government on an eligible project, or if it has entered into a shared services agreement with a Canadian municipal government in the area of municipal infrastructure, climate change mitigation or climate adaptation.
Il y a une chose que je ne comprend pas !les gouvernements arrête les subventions pour auto électrique mais continue en donnée aux pétroliers au montant de 17 milliards par année ! La caisse vide ?? Je n’en crois pas un mot !
A Québec, la reprise annoncée pour le 1 Avril 2025 est conditionnelle à ce que le Gouvernement, malgré des déficits, ajoute des sommes lors du prochain budget.
